An inspiring and effective piece of work. This video Launched green.tv’s music channel with Swedish producer and DJ, Eric Prydz and his remix of Pink Floyd’s ‘Another Brick in the Wall’. Green.tv interviewed Dan Morrell from climate change charity Global Cool who consulted on the video. The tune’s called ‘Proper Education’. The video has a deep green message. It focuses on climate change and the issues surrounding global warming. Set in a London estate, it shows a gang of young people breaking into local flats, in order to switch appliances off standby, change light bulbs for energy efficient alternatives and place bricks in toilet cisterns to use less water.

GLOBAL AIRTRAFFIC VISULISATION: This video really provides food for thought; I think that before very long it will be irrelevant whether air travel is a ‘poluting menace” or not, for it will have become prohibitively expense all but for the very rich. The Green Party and indeed (recently, grudgingly) the government have acknowledged that an energy shortfall is all but inevitable within the next ten years (long before we have paid off the countries debt) The Transition Towns are correct when they say that we need to prepare for that change, we will all question our consumption when a quick nip into town becomes disproportionately expensive…as well as the madness of investing in something which is already becoming the past!

OFFICIAL GREEN PARTY ELECTION VIDEO: I really enjoyed this video, the message of alternative to ‘the same old politics’ is really strong. If we can bring together communities and groups, all those who wish to speak, and put our voice together we can and will affect change. The internet is changing politics, and providing a voice for millions. You don’t need thousands of pounds to run campaigns any more, you need a few laptops, the help of your friends, a plan, and the courage of your convictions.
